Biggie Talent : Meet Taulant Ramadani

What makes your journey at Biggie unique?

My journey at Biggie started a bit by chance, when I took over a position a friend had told me about. At first, neither my manager nor I were sure it would work out but it quickly clicked. The unique environment I joined made all the difference. I started in January 2020, when the team was small and had a real start-up mindset, so I was involved in everything.
Two months later, we went into lockdown. The pandemic context was challenging, but it also had an unexpected upside : it gave me time and focus to fully explore our tools and learn a lot independently.
This learning environment played a big role in my growth. I started as a Key Account Manager, then became Account Management Team Leader a year later, and finally Head of Ad Operations the following year, leading the Account Management and Media Trading teams in Zurich. In the end, it really was the perfect match.

If you had to sum up the Biggie spirit in three words:

INNOVATION – CAMARADERIE – INTERNATIONAL

What excites you most about your job?

My job aligns perfectly with what I enjoy: creating or improving processes. Whether it’s designing a new client dashboard or working on automated reporting, I can become completely absorbed in new projects and it’s not uncommon for my wife to call me to remind me it’s dinner time.
I feel very lucky to work in a company that encourages this passion and gives me the freedom to build useful, scalable projects.

One of your passions

I love DIY and working on projects at home. I do everything myself from laying turf to building a terrace or installing a smart home system. I learn as I go and develop new skills. Sometimes my back hurts, but I’m always proud of the result. I hope to pass on a thing or two to my three daughters one day.

A professional tip to share

If you enjoy something, try to build your career around it.
When you’re passionate about what you do, it feels less like work, and you naturally perform better because you’re more motivated to learn and explore every aspect of your role. It’s a win for you, as your work becomes fulfilling and it’s also in the company’s best interest, benefiting from an engaged employee.
